96 pages, the contents devoted entirely to Walter Stalder's history of the oil and gas industry in California here published for the first (only?) time; his detailed essay is well illustrated, with a foldout map in color, two other color plates, and numerous photos, and comprises about half of this issue, the other half consisting entirely of advertisements for and by the oil industry. Good condition with occasional chipping to the outer wraps, clean and unworn otherwise. Scarce.
