The annual growth of energy demand in India has increased significantly from 304.5 GW in 2016 to 329.6 GW in 2017 (MNRE 2017). The conventional sources based power plants like thermal, nuclear, hydro and renewable sources based power plants like small-hydro, wind, bio-mass and solar plants are utilized to meet this demand.
