About the Author

Llinian Llanes has a doctorate in art history from the University of Havana. She is an art curator and an art critic who has written several articles about contemporary Cuban and Latin American art. Jean-Luc de Laguarigue is a photographer who has won the Prix de Reportage and has contributed work to many French publications.
