Hardback, bound in brown cloth with embossed borders and a gilt device, the spine has a clear plastic reinforcement and a library label. The endpapers have the bookplate of a Franciscan library and there is a library stamp on the rear of the title p age. The text is largely unopened, it is well bound together, there is some light browning and a touch of foxing in a few places; it is otherwise clean and crisp throughout. ix + iii + 237 + 8. Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 237p; 8p Parker Society report. REBOUND. A hardcover book that has been rebound with a black cloth spine, retaining the original gilt-decorated brown cloth boards and much of the original backstrip. Edges heavily worn; faint library call number near bottom of spine. The pages are brittle with age; the bottom corner of page 145 has chipped off, not affecting the text. Scattered pencil notations, but most pages clean, and binding tight. Very scarce Anglican catechism in Latin with English translation, using the traditional question-and-answer format.
