CBUQ Stockable: PRELIMINARY STUDIES OF STOCKPILEABLE CBUQ TYPE ASPHALT MIXTURE FOR USE IN PAVING IN THE STATE OF GOI?S

The predominance of road transport in the Brazilian transport matrix, the poor quality of the Brazilian road infrastructure observed in recent years and the social and environmental impacts of the asphalt mixture most commonly used in Brazil, the Hot-Machined Bituminous Concrete - HWC, highlight the need to study new construction materials for paving purposes. This graduate work proposes, therefore, the study of a stockpileable asphalt mixture of the CBUQ type, a new type of asphalt coating still little studied that proposes to be applied cold thanks to the addition of a setting retardant compound to its mixture.
