[African American] CDV Photograph of an African American gentleman. 2 3/16" x 3 11/16." Verso imprint from "Rich, S.A., photographer. " This CDV bears a gold border and depicts a young African American man dressed in suit, holding a short-brimmed hat in one hand, the man has a air of dignity and looks straight at the camera. He rests the other hand on a decorative studio planter filled with flowers. On the backside is Mrs. S.A. Rich's pictorial imprint and the photography studio's Cincinnati address, which was in operation at this location from 1885-86. Very good condition. Seller Inventory # 18591
