In addition, Rifkin co-authored, with George Harrar, The Ultimate Entrepreneur: The Story of Ken Olsen and Digital Equipment Corporation, which made several regional best-seller lists.

He has been a regular commentator on business and technology for WBUR, the National Public Radio station in Boston.
