This is a sole proprietorship run under the trade name of Larimar Animal Books. If you wish to use a credit card, you must order the books online through abebooks website as abebooks will process the credit card transactions on my behalf.
I do accept CHECKs or MONEY ORDERs in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. institution payable to Larimar Animal Books. Books are held for 10 days awaiting payment. No books will be shipped until payment is received. We reserve the right to wait for checks to clear before shipping a book(s). An email is sent with a tracking number and expected delivery date once books are shipped.
Refund for book cost with prior notification and if returned within 7 days in same condition as was sent.
All DJs are covered with Brodart archival quality covers. All books listed have pictures on abebooks which are done without the plastic covers on the DJ unless notes.
Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
For international orders we will determine if shipping first-class international service in a padded mailer is less than the flat priority mail envelope. For lighter books, this sometimes can be less. There is no surface mail available.
