Oblong 4to. (28 cm.) unpaged [40p.]. Illustrated with 73 black and white captioned photos (most full page) and one double-page black and white photo at the center entitled "The City of Seattle Seen From the Waters of Puget Sound, the U.S.S. Washington Anchored in the Foreground." Stapled booklet in tan wrappers with gilt letters on the front cover and with a black and white photo of Mt. Rainier set within a green cartouche on the front cover. Just a few minor dings around the edges, wrappers very lightly soiled, spine very lightly abraded, a bit of rust on the staples, front cover has a crease in it, gilt bright, green bright, all internal photos in near fine condition, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. This booklet includes one page of narrative history plus photos of all major buildings and venues in Seattle, as well as nearby sites (e.g., Snoqualmie Falls) and photos of Chief Seattle, Princess Angeline, The U.S.S. Nebraska and Puget Sound Navy Yard at Bremerton. A comprehensive look at one of the most important cities in the Pacific Northwest just after the turn of the 20th century. Seller Inventory # 009153
