- Small octavo, original printed brown boards with a gilt-lettered black leather spine. The boards are rubbed, bumped & soiled with some light staining. The head & tail of the spine are chipped & the joints are rubbed with short splits at the head of the spine. 283 pages. Numerous engraved head- and tail-pieces. The pastedowns & endpapers are foxed with a contemporary owner's ink name on the front endpaper. For the most part, the contents are unusually clean & bright. Very good.
