Unpaginated [9pp.]. 21 x 15 cm. A curious handmade cookbook with printed interior pages, attributed to women from the community, but only their initials. Recipes are annoted/corrected by hand. The cover is a comination of a pasted down image with hand drawn additions. Covers chipped at corners, interior clean. Tan heavy wraps, hand illustrated. Very good. Seller Inventory # 4208

A wonderful school project incorporating the 6-7 year olds parent's favorite recipe with their own phonetic spelling along with a hand drawn color pictures. Each recipe is typed, accompanied by a hand drawing that is attributed to a class member. Laid in is a letter from the teacher ".After a discussion on how a recipe is written, the children were asked to write their mom or dad's favorite recipe. They were given some help with spelling, but that is all. Recipes include: Patisa (pizza) - "tamado suos, doo, olavs, peaprone-Pat tamado suos on the doo and pat saem olavs and peaprone on the doo.
