Volumes 1-2 come in their own slipcase with a special drawer on top containing a magnifying glass. The third volume, the 1987 supplement, is in a separate slipcase. Front endpapers creased in vol. 1; otherwise, all three volumes are clean and tight, as if barely handled. The magnifying glass is a bit hazy (could use a good cleaning) but not cracked. Some minor dings and scuffs to the slipcases, none affecting their overall structural integrity. The supplement's slipcase still has the shrinkwrap, opened on one side so the book can be accessed. Overall, a complete set in near-fine condition. Complete text of the Oxford English Dictionary reproduced micrographically, with four pages of text per page. The font size is tiny, hence the inclusion of the magnifying glass. Each volume measures approx. 12.25" x 9.5" on its own. Seller Inventory # 325154
