About the Author

General Editor Agusti Jausas is the founder of the law firm JAUSAS, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid. He has authored several books on company law and is the editor of two international publications on agency and distribution agreements; he is also a regular contributor to specialist journals. Mr Jausas served for eight years as chairman of the International Bar Association s Subcommittee on Agency and Distribution, Section of Business Law, and for four years as co-chairman of the Committee on international Sales and Related Commercial Transactions. He has participated in many national and international conferences and seminars on international commercial law and on the regulation of agency and distribution agreements. He has also been very active in advising on the formation of subsidiaries in different jurisdictions.
