xv+430, 18 text figs. internally clean & unmarked, but end gutter splitting exposing netting and fr. has incipient splitting of endpapers, quite tight nonetheless; covers clean and unworn but strip of minor cloth bubbling along fr.joint; jacket chipped top sp.with loss of part of title, num.other nicks and frayings at extremeties, sp.also very darkened as are outer folds. Without gutter splitting would have rated book itself as Good/VG. Nevertheless a sound working and reference copy of this classic. Size: 17 Cms x 24 Cms.
