This workbook provides extensive guided practice with a complete range of writing tasks, and will prepare students for the more rigorous reading and writing tasks on the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) assessments.

The workbook covers all the Common Core writing skills that students need. Students will write in response to passages, as well as write narratives, opinion pieces, and essays. Students will also gain experience completing research projects and editing and revising their work.
