Blue cloth with black-lettered spine and impressed pub. logo centre front, covers clean and virtually unworn bar slight corner rubbing, but spine a shade faded with light end rubbing and a tiny dent. 314 pp., 307-8 largely in German fraktur font; small early sig. top front end-paper, light edge-tanning to end-papers and paste-downs, otherwise clean tight and unmarked. The Appendix had 'but lately' been published 'in the form of a magazine article' but appears here in book form (and English) for the first time. The German 2nd edition of the main text was published in 1897 with changes suggested by Marx in notes to his 1859 1st ed. Apparently uncommon. 14 cm x 19.5 cm.
