Light wear and creasing to wrappers; spine extremities rubbed; else about very good. An illustrated catalog published on the occasion of the seminar "Cultures of the East - Visual Arts of the West of the 20th Century," which coincided with the exhibition "Archetype", with contributions by major international artists such as Marina Abramovic and Ulay, Joseph Beuys, and Richard Long. The organisers of the seminar and exhibition, credited as "members and associates of the Community for the Research of Space in Belgrade," uniquely used the space of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade as a venue for presenting and discussing Western contemporary art. According to the introduction, the project aimed to promote the idea that "art is not created in a space of isolation, but rather a space of interconnections, intersections, intertwining, confrontations with the spaces of myth, science, and philosophy of different cultural systems and different historical ramifications." Other participants in the exhibition included Mary Bauermeister, Sally Berney, Agnes Denes, Laura Dean, Dubravka Djuric, Hamish Fulton, Wolfgang Laib, Ingrid Sili, Annelie Pohlen, Herman de Vries, and Franz Erhard Walther, among others. One of 500 copies. As of August 2025, KVK, OCLC show no copies outside of Slovenia.
