Dust jacket has light crease at top spine corner, otherwise without flaw. 7.5 X 10.5" 137 pages. Translated from 'The Masses Cookbook', the recipes in this book are for very simple local dishes handed down from generation to generation and are quite different from the elaborate ones from Chinese cooks in Hong Kong. Especially deserving of notice are vegetable dishes made of very common and seasonal vegetables in easy-to-follow methods that bring out the natural flavors. With an illustrated chapter on Chinese Ingredients, Seasonings and Spices and how to prepare them. Chinese names are given for each dish and there are chapters on Vegetables, Bean Curd, Meats, Eggs & Chicken, Fish & Shellfish, Wheaten Foods and six complete, illustrated sample menus. Illustrated throughout with colour presentation photographs.

CANADA - Order more than one book at a time from our collection you will save money on shipping costs. * The Canada Post Flat Rate shipping boxes hold up to 11 lbs or 5 Kgs. * It costs the same to ship two (or more) books as it does a single item, so Bundle Up Tracking number and Insurance up to C$100.00 are included. *Books under 500g (1lb) wrapped weight and measuring under 1" thick in wrapper, may be shipped by less expensive Letter Mail. Please inquire.
USA - Postage to the USA is calculated on a packaged weight of 1Kg. or under and includes Canada Post tracking and insurance against loss or damage. Delivery time is approximately 15 days depending largely upon Customs clearing times. * Based on the total packaged weight up to 1Kg. (2.2 lbs) a second book can be shipped free of charge or at a reduced rate.
