About the Author

Bob Boyd, CFCM, worked as an electronics technician, COTR, contract administrator, and contract specialist for the U.S. Navy and then as an instructor in basic, advanced, and executive level acquisition courses at the Army Logistics Management College and Navy Acquisition Management Training Office. He subsequently founded Training Concepts, Inc., which provided COR/COTR training and consulting services to government and commercial clients. Mr. Boyds dual technical/contracting career gives him unique insight into the roles and responsibilities of the acquisition team and federal contracting.
