DISEGNATI ALL" ACQUAFORTE DA FILIPPO FERRARI. Roma, presso Gº Antonelli. 1826. In folio (de 29x21 cm) com1 folha de rosto (aguaforte colorida) e 97 gravuras (aguafortes coloridas). Encadernação da época com lombada em pele (marroquin vermelho) e pastas em percalina. Exemplar apresenta cantos e coifas cansadas. Ilustrado com trajos (vestuário, figurinos) da Corte Papal com os seguintes figuras: Sumo Pontifice no trono pontifical; idem com mosseta e estola; idem com o hábito pontifício; idem em hábito privado; vários cardeais com vários habitos e paramentos, e hábito comuns; vários padres e ponfticies das igrejas orientais, prelado e capelães; Guarda suíços (capitães, sargentos e soldados); freiras e religiosas; homens do povo e vendedores de várias profissões, etc. Apresenta, entre as aguasfortes, uma gravura com um frontispicio alternativo na qual se lê: Raccolta di Costumi dello Statto Romano Disegnati ed incisi all' aquaforte da Filippo Ferrari. Roma MDCCCXXVI, com uma alegoria com um pastor com o seu cão e uma cabra. llustrated with a frontispiece and 97 engraved plates (contemporary manually water colored). Binding: contemporary half calf (red morocco) bound, worn out and bumped at corners. Illustrated with clothing/costumes of the Papal Court with: The Pope in his chair; and with the pontifical and private habits. Prete and Cardinals; Cardinal deacon, Cardinal with gown;Cardinal in common habit; and several Oriental Priests with gown; Prelates and Prefect of the pontifical ceremonies; Dragons of the Swiss Guard (officers, sargents and soldiers); friars and nuns, common people and various merchants. A singular engraving, interspead amongst the others, has an alternative title page showing an allegory of a sheppard with his dog and a goat in front of an engraved stone with the lettering: Raccolta di Costumi dello Statto Romano Disegnati ed incisi all' aquaforte da Filippo Ferrari.
