This book goes into detail on how the office of President of the United States was created in the Constitution. Charles Thach starts by looking at how executive power was used at the state level from 1776-1789. He goes on to analyze how it was viewed for the federal level, how it changed during the formation of the constitution, and how the office was almost removed from the Constitution. Many footnotes are included. This copy is clean and solid with the ORIGINAL TAN PAPER DUST JACKET.
