About the Author

Amy Hempel es la autora de los libros de relatos Razones para vivir (1985), A las puertas del reino animal (1990), Tumble Home (1997), El perro del matrimonio (2005) y Sing to it (2019), todos ellos reunidos en el volumen de Cuentos completos que Seix Barral publica en 2023. Sus relatos han sido publicados en Harper’s, GQ, Elle, O, The Oprah Magazine y Vanity Fair. Actualmente da clases de posgrado en la Escuela de Escritores de la Universidad de Bennington y vive cerca de Nueva York.
