Reprint (originally published 1941). 56 pages. Hardcover: H 26.25cm x L 22.25cm. Yellow dust jacket rubbed and soiled with chips and tears; old clear tape strips affixed along edges and spine; front flap retains publisher's printed price ($3.25) at top right but bottom corner clipped. Muted red cloth with some soiling; scuffing/fraying at spine ends and board corners. Past owner's name-address label at front pastedown's top right; several early leaves have short tears and/or nicks at their upper fore-edge margins; ink ownership inscription dated April 1965 on page 3; some soiling and faint creasing to leaves with bumped bottom fore-edge corners. Binding is still firm. Laid-in at front endpapers is July 1991 newspaper clipping with article regarding Margret Rey and Curious George.
