Contemporary 1/2 leather with marbled boards. 153 plates, colored frontispiece, additional pictorial title page, and thirty-six hand-colored plates, plus 115 uncolored. fine condition, with bright, fresh color to the plates. Minor soiling to some plates and offsetting from some plates. This is one of the finest works demonstrating Regency furniture. Inside the front cover is a paste-down slip for R. P. & C. Williams, 18 & 20 Cornhill, Boston, suggesting American interest in the British fashions in furniture of the day. Abbey (Life) 73.
