Caesar Rodney

One man. One horse. One storm. One vote that helped change history.

In the summer of 1776, America's future hung in the balance. The colonies were debating whether to break free from England, but one important vote was missing. Delaware's delegate, Caesar Rodney, was more than 80 miles away when an urgent message arrived.

With time running out, Caesar mounted his horse and rode through the night.

Through pounding rain, muddy roads, crashing thunder, and flashing lightning, he raced toward Philadelphia on a mission that could help determine the future of a nation.

Follow the true story of one of America's most remarkable-and often forgotten-heroes in this beautifully illustrated children's book. Young readers will discover how courage, determination, and doing the right thing can change history.

Perfect for children, families, classrooms, and anyone who loves American history, Caesar Rodney Rode Through the Night brings an inspiring moment from the founding of America to life.

Because sometimes, one brave choice can make all the difference.
