6 volume set. Vol 1 - xxxvi, 496 pages + frontispiece. Vol 2 - [iv], 512 pages. Vol 3 - [iv], 552 pages. Vol 4 - [iv], 532 pages. Vol 5 - [iv], 480 pages. Vol 6 - [iv], 502, [2] pages. Bound in more modern green/blue leather which has faded to brown long the spines. Some rubbing to the edges of the spines. Small bookseller's ticket to each volume of William Jackson Aberdeen. The modern end papers are also browned and this affects adjoining pages. Some staining and spotting throughout, heavier in places. The final pages of each volume are generally more spotted and browned. Vol 3 page 201 heavily stained. Staining to page edges throughout.
