Lesley Lababidi raised three children in Cairo and is the author of Silent No More: Special Needs People in Egypt (AUC Press, 2002).

Lisa Sabbahy has a Ph.D. in Egyptian archaeology from the University of Toronto and is the author of Ramses II: The Pharaoh and His Time.
