This is definitely Not a former library book. This is a hardcover book with 160 pages including several illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The title page has some edgewear along the fore-edge (this is because the publisher failed to "cut" that one page and it ended up a little rough along the edge). . The dust jacket is beautiful with just a hint of edgewear (No Chips). The DJ has been placed in a fresh mylar jacket. The original price on the DJ flap says $3.25. There is a gold sticker medallion on the front of the DJ stating this book was a winner of the Charles Follett Award for children's literature. The book and DJ are in wonderful condition.
