Description: Includes a section of black and white photo plates at the rear, and is well illustrated throughout in black and white. This series of articles on California missions published in California Highways and Public Works, and in various newspapers, was prepared by the author for the State Department of Public Works, which desired to acquaint visitors as well as citizen of California with the inestimable value as historical attractions of the old Franciscan Missions and how to reach them over State highways. Kenneth C Adams prepared the series of articles for the State Department and Rau Hewitt of the California Mission Trails Association has prepared them for publication here. BINDNG/CONDITION: paperbound; side-stapled format; Fair condition. 11 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide. 74 pages.
