Call Me Jobulene

Trial and tribulation are nothing new to Vera Simpson Gaines. When her mother sickened and died when Vera was a young girl, the long-lasting effects were devastating, yet she managed to come through with her sanity intact and a strong sense of determination which served her well in later years as she faced more difficulties.

Firmly rooted in her faith and the belief that God does not give you more than you can handle, in the intervening years she has faced estrangement from her father and other family members, an often rocky marriage, and scores of health problems that would have felled a lesser woman. She has handled each battle one at a time, girded by her faith in God and an absolute trust that he knows what is good for her, that he will bring her through the latest storm, shining clean and renewed on the other side.

A book of hope, inspiration, and encouragement, Vera Simpson Gaines’s words in Call Me A Story of Courage and Determination will have you believing that no matter what you’re facing, you, too, will make it through with the help of God.
