And Don't Call us Ladies!: A Tale of Two Women and a Runaway Movie

And Don't Call Us Ladies! is the often painful, frequently funny, but ultimately uplifting true story of a feature film production that went "south" with a vengeance. It's also the story of how two women from Colorado kept their inspiration alive in unexpected ways, and two decades later, finally realized their dream of producing an independent feature film, winning a couple of awards in the process and finally bridging the gap between their aspiration of movie magic and its elusive manifestation.

Between them, Pamela Nelson and Kimberly Ricotta have been involved in just about every aspect of the creative arts - from voice work, acting and improv, to penning award-winning screenplays and a futuristic novel, to producing a Best-Feature selected independent feature film. Throughout their twenty-year friendship, they've shared some good laughs, some serious tears, and an abundance of intense dark chocolate. Never again, however, will they share an umbrella.
