About the Author

Cece Whittaker spent the first part of her career as a musician, creating, recording, and performing many love songs. As her second love, writing, took hold, she began by editing for major publishers in New York and ghostwriting a few suspense novels. Eventually, she was able to take a happy foray into novel writing for herself. The Call to Serve comes after a careful examination of conditions in the US and Europe during 1943, combined with multi-generational memories of family and other loved ones.
