This Edition includes an essay "The History of Henry Roth and Call It Sleep" by Harold Ribalow, a critical introduction by Maxwell Geismar and preface "A Personal Appreciation" by Meyer Levin. Book is straight, square, securely bound, lightly and uniformly age toned and free of markings and other blemishes. Cover shows some age toning, with bumping to the corners, headband and tail, soiling and color chipping along the spine (thereby marring clarity of the lettering), small tear at the headband.
