Genesis 1:28-31 (TMB) 28And Almighty blessed them; and Almighty said to them: You(p) bear fruit and you(p) increase and you(p) fill full the earth; and you(p) subjugate (rule over) it; and you(p) subjugate (rule over) the fish in the roaring sea, and the birds in the up-above, and all the living & breathing creatures crawling with steps upon the earth. 29And Almighty said: Look & see, I give to you(p) all vegetation sowing seed, which is upon the faces of all the earth, and all the trees which have seed in its fruit, for sowing seed; to you(p) it exists for food. 30And to all living & breathing creatures on the earth, and to all birds in the up-above, and to all crawling with steps upon the earth, which is living & breathing, all green vegetation for food; and it existed just so. 31And Almighty saw all which he had done, and look & see, it was wholly good; and existed dusk and existed dawn the sixth day. • Adam and Eve were given clear instructions: You(p) fill full the earth. You(p) subjugate (rule over) it. You(p) subjugate (rule over) the fish in the roaring sea, and the birds in the up-above, and all the living & breathing creatures crawling with steps upon the earth. Did this instruction to Adam and Eve stop with these two? No; it continued… To the sons of Israel, to the son of David. In Christ, to us.
