Outer hinges are cracked, inner hinges successfully reinforced with binder's tape. Text is very good and text block is sound. Names of Contemporary provenance (and later, oldest first) signatures on front endpapers: "James Hendersons book"; Lory Ander's book; Albert C. Hayes presented by his Mother Sara B. Hayes 2-29-1912", with Private Andrew Fuller (1754 â_x0080__x0093_ 1815) was an English Particular Baptist minister, in the line of Reformed Baptists. He was a theologian, known as a promoter of missionary work, he also took part in theological controversy in defense of the governmental theory of the atonement against hyper-Calvinism on the one hand and Socinianism and Sandemanianism on the other. "Using their own writings and the admissions they make concerning piety and virtue among Socinians, Fuller compared both systems in their tendency to convert profligates to a life of holiness, to convert professed unbelievers, their development of a standard of morality, to encourage love to God, candor and benevolence toward men." This work is his fullest expression of Fuller's position, which is also a foundation of his missionary ambitions. He is best known in connection with the foundation of the Baptist Missionary Society, Seller Inventory # 311332
