Camp Nightmare: A Reunion Thriller (Paperback or Softback)

"Friday the 13th" meets cosmic terror in the deep Canadian wilderness.

Twenty years ago, the counselors of Camp White Bear vanished into the mist, leaving behind a silence that never truly ended. Now, a long-awaited reunion brings them back to the site of their youth to rekindle old friendships. But when night falls, the fun is over.

As the pristine forest turns predatory, swallowing the road back to civilization, the friends are forced to confront something far more terrifying than their past. Something has been listening from the darkness for two decades, and it has finally decided to feed.

Not all scary stories remain around the campfire. Will any of them make it out alive?

From John T. Haas, Writers of the Future winner and author of the Book of Ancient Evil series, comes a chilling new descent into nostalgia and terror. If you survived the cosmic horror of Cults of Death and Madness, prepare yourself for a nightmare that refuses to stay in the past.

John T. Haas, a Canadian author from Montreal, spent twelve great years in Calgary before settling in Ottawa, though he still longs for those Rocky Mountains. Writing is his lifelong passion, but he started pursuing publishing seriously after his sons were born. Since then, he's had over thirty short stories published and authored seven novels and three anthologies. His humorous fantasy trilogy starts with "The Reluctant Barbarian." After winning the Writer's of the Future contest in 2019 with his novella "The Damned Voyage," he launched a prequel Lovecraftian trilogy with "Cults of Death and Madness," published by Wordfire Press. He also has a standalone horror novel, "Stay Out." John aims to be a full-time writer, dreaming of fame and fortune, but taking it step by step. He lives with his supportive family, who inspire and motivate him to keep writing.
