Well done history of the famous and still running, Canada Creek Ranch, a private hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation club consisting of approximately 13,500 acres, 500 homes & cabins, and a lodge ? commonly known as the ?Ranch House? ? which houses our administrative offices, dining room, library, gift shop, meeting rooms, game room, fitness room and 20 overnight rooms; all adorning the heritage and outdoors theme we so preciously embrace. Canada Creek Ranch was established in 1934. It has a proud heritage of hunting, fishing and family recreation. Located in northern Montmorency County, halfway between Atlanta and Onaway, Michigan, the property encompasses approximately 21 square miles equaling 13,500 acres. This publication is undated but there is a listing for the President of the Canada Creek Ranch Association for 1970 (Harold M. Benson) inside. Lots of local history here and lots of Mich family names that belonged to Canada Creek. Laid in are two fold out maps of the property, one small and one large. There are no other copies online. there is one from 1952 in one library in Mich. OCLC#-9886057. Very scarce Michigan history.LOC SSE-04.
