The Canadian Brass Book of Intermediate Trombone Solos brings together 12 intermediate to advanced classical solos for trombone and piano. Arranged by Canadian Brass trombonist Eugene Watts, the collection combines varied classical repertoire with piano accompaniment and online audio for trombonists interested in learning, practicing, and performing established works.

The book includes all 12 trombone solos with piano accompaniment material, online recordings of performances by Eugene Watts, and piano accompaniment tracks. Audio is accessed with the unique code included inside each book and may be streamed or downloaded. The included PLAYBACK+ audio player provides practical controls that allow musicians to slow recordings without changing pitch, create loop points, change keys, and pan audio left or right.

The combination of printed music, recorded performances, and accompaniment tracks gives trombonists several ways to explore each selection. Performance recordings provide a musical reference for phrasing and expression, while the accompaniment tracks support focused practice and preparation away from a live pianist. The repertoire also offers variety for lessons, personal study, rehearsal, and performance.
