2 volumes, published in 1891 and 1892, in matched red cloth bindings. Condition is fair, with front cover and first leaf of volume 1 detached, rear cover nearly detached, spines chipping and torn. Printed on very poor paper. [10], 270, [12]; [10], 261, [12] pp., 6 small folding maps, 3 each in pockets at backs of the volumes. Volume 1 (Eastern Canada) was written by Roberts. Volume 2 (Western Canada) was written by Ingersoll. This is a fairly scarce set, particularly volume 2 which is an early tourists' guidebook to western Canada. OCLC 8079722 & 21917015.
