iv, 572 p. 23 cm. B&w illustrations. Blue cloth with black and gold impressing. Bevelled edges. Corners bumped, spine faded. Spine has chipped lower spine label and softened ends. Hinges cracked internally. Small chip top of p. 3. Some marks in margin of p. 23. Topics include The Aryan Race by Charles Morris (book review), a visit to Bethlehem, forty years with the Sioux, half-hours in an Asylum, the siege of Paris, Paris Exposition of 1889 (includes drawing of exhibition grounds with Eiffel Tower), etc.
