The Candy Hunter

This Halloween, the trick is a candy thief-and the treat is...candy (duh), plus friendship, grit, and victory.

Barb and her crew are cruising the cul-de-sac for full-size bars when a bully steals their treats. Friends scatter. Streetlights buzz. But Barb plants her sneakers, grits her teeth, and remembers that heroes don't give up. With quips sharper than plastic fangs, she turns a candy heist into a clever sting. By the time the night is over, the bully is defeated, Barb's friends have their candy, and they're already dreaming of a sequel.

Packed with wink-worthy nods to classic action flicks, this kid-friendly romp delivers suspense, laughs, and a hero worth cheering. Dads and action-movie fans will love its humor, heart, and lessons in grit and friendship for kids.
