Canine Terminology

A beautifully illustrated glossary of terms used in the Breed Standards for purebred dogs worldwide. Terms are clearly defined, with reference to specific breeds where the term is used, and most are illustrated with detailed pen and ink drawings by Australians Mary and Peggy Davidson. This is an invaluable reference book for anyone involved in the sport of purebred dogs at any level.

"Harry Spira’s CANINE TERMINOLOGY, is in my opinion destined to become the definitive work in its field. Dr. Spira’s writing is clear, concise and easy to understand…his explanations are helped immeasurably by the artists’ total brilliance…The quality of Margaret and Marian Davidson’s drawing is superb."
