Capitol Park Trees: A Users Guide

Capitol Park, Sacramento, California, has as one of its many attractions, a 40-acre display of one of the finest collections of trees from every continent and climate of the world. Three walks have been laid out such that visitors to the park may view those trees in an organized manner. The various specimens are numbered and labeled, giving the botanical and common names. The author, Max Schuster, created the book to coincide with the gala re-opening of the restored Capitol building in 1982. Technical purity was paramount because of the large number of specimens included. The book includes a layout of the walks and information on every tree in the park and where it is located. Also included are a glossary, index, and bibliography
