Cappy Tail is a special squirrel-you'll see! Join him as he talks and tours you thruogh his home, the United Stes Capitol, a monument to the world's greatest democracy. On your journey of discovery, you'll start with the exhibits, videos and treasures in the Capitol Visitor Center. Then you'll make your way the the famous rooms, halls and chambers of the building from the Rotunda, House of Representatives and Senate to Statuary Hall, the Old Supreme Court Chamber and oooh!-the crypt! You'll go nuts for Cappy and the Capitol!

Peter and Cheryl Barnes are husband and wife writer/illustrators who specialize in educational picture books for children. Peter is a broadcast journalist in Washington D.C. Cheryl is an illustrator with a background in architecture. There other children's books about civics and government include Woodrow, the White House Mouse, about the nation's famous mansion and the job of the president, and House Mouse Senate Mouse, about how our laws are made in Congress. They have two grown children and live in Alexandria, Virginia.
