David Rippy was twenty-five years old and just beginning a promising career with a Fortune 50 company when he was in a horrific car accident. The crash left him paralyzed from the shoulders down, and his sudden change from an athletic young man to a quadriplegic was drastic and, at times, devastating. Yet David never stopped pursuing his dreams.

Despite the challenging economy and the competitive job market, David became a money manager by setting goals he eventually accomplished and realized his dreams. He went on to build a storied career that included working for Merrill Lynch and the Vanguard Group before he retired from finance to write, speak, and share his insights with others who are faced with debilitating challenges and horrific circumstances. David Rippy attended Villanova University before graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. At age twenty-five, he was just beginning a career at a Fortune 50 company when a car accident left him paralyzed from the shoulders down.

Despite this life-altering injury, he formulated a vision for his life. He became determined to fulfill his ambition to become a money manager-and he did. David went on to have a long and successful career. He worked at Merrill Lynch and the Vanguard Group for years and acquired various certifications and licenses in the process.

Today, he's left the finance field to write, speak, inspire and help others by sharing the story of his own perseverance and triumph. He still believes that there are more miracles to come in his life and works toward new goals and aspirations every day.
