Clean text; xiv, then 19 to 422 pages, followed by an advert by the publisher for Agents [this edition sold by subscription]. Frontis engraving, and eleven other illustrations within. Pages 369-422 are an Appendix listing Union prisoners held. The textblock is toned and spotted throughout but remains perfectly readable. Mildly bumped. An attractive copy of this fascinating tale.
