Michael A. Chizner, MD, FACP, FACC, FAHA, is a nationally renowned cardiologist, and the Director of Medical Education Emeritus at Broward Health, one of the nation's largest public health care systems based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to serving in this role, Dr. Chizner was the Founder and former Chief Medical Director of the Heart Center of Excellence and the Founding Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Broward Health. He is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic and Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University, the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University, American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, and Barry University.

Dr. Chizner graduated with highest honors from the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University, where he was selected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He received his residency training in Internal Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, and his cardiology fellowship training with legendary cardiologist W. Dr. Chizner is a highly accomplished cardiac clinician diagnostician, widely known for his clinical skills especially in the art of auscultation and his humanistic approach to patient care. Ryan E. Chizner, DO, MPH, FACC, RPVI is a practicing clinical and interventional cardiologist, and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Chizner graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. He received his medical degree, along with his Master of Public Health degree, from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Chizner completed his Internal Medicine residency training and General and Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at Palmetto General Hospital / Nova Southeastern University in Hialeah, Florida, where he earned the distinction of being selected to serve as both Chief Information Technology Resident and Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Chizner is sextuple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasound.
