Taupe w/red and orange vignette of carpetbag and roses, black and orange border, gilt, black and orange lettering. Spine rubbed, gilt barely readable, shelfwear head and heel, mild general soiling, corners lightly bumped. Ex lib w/lovely lib label inside front cover, no other lib marks or residue. Some thumb smudging throughout. Ten fabulous illustrations, all show foxing on edges, including frontis w/tissue guard. Top edge gilt, deckled edge. Based on the 1898 play by the same name.
