Foulis, 1952).- A History of the World's Highest Performance Cars, including in the Vintage era and the Grand Tour Revival, written by Richard Hough and Michael Frostick. Contains a colour frontispiece and seven colour plates. (George Allen and Unwin, 1967).- The Austin: 1905-1952, a first edition illustrated history on the iconic car make, written by R.J. Wyatt. Contains numerous in-text illustrations and sixteen double-sided plates in the center of the book. (David and Charles, 1981).- Postwar Sports Cars: The Modern Classics, an illustrated dive into these iconic automobiles, written by Eric Dymock. Contains numerous in-text and full-page illustrations throughout, including those in colour across a double page spread. (The Ebury Press, 1981). In the publisher's original cloth and the original dust wrappers, all unclipped except Dymock. Externally, very smart, with minimal marks and shelfwear. Minor knocks to the heads and tails of the spines of Wyatt and Frostick, slightly heavier to Speed, with the odd small fading mark to the front board. Dust wrappers of Wyatt and Dymock and are bright and clean with minimal edgewear. Wrappers of Frostick and Speed are generally bright and clean, with the odd small smudge mark to rear of Forstick, slightly heavier to Speed, with a couple of small marks to front wrapper. Slight browning and creasing to wrapper joints of Frostick and Speed, with chips to head of wrapper spine and to extremities of Frostick, with signs of rubbing and creasing to edges. Protective coating is adhered to the wrapper of Speed and cannot be removed. End papers are bright and clean, with slight dirt trapped to hinges of Frostick, and very light spotting to front free end paper of Dymock. Foyles bookshop sticker to front pastedown of Frostick. Previous owner's signature to verso of front free end paper of Dymock. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with slight spotting to half-title and frontispiece of Frostick. Very Good Indeed.
