Carter Ward, Space Rat (Paperback)

Paperback. More badass than Han Solo, less reputable than Northwest Smith, wilder than Eric Jon Stark, Carter Ward, space rat, is a rogue of the spaceways. Accompanied only by his virtual companion Dimara, he travels the void between Mars and the Asteroid Belt with a cargo of profitable if disreputable nature, encountering a collection of colorful characters, smugglers, gun-runners and others: `Mud', his old friend from his days with the Martian Rangers; the patrician diplomat, Frederick J. Sherman, III; and the bewitching and seductive Illara, who ensnares Ward in an adventure that draws him into the fight of his life against the space pirates, Turhan Mot and Mokem Bet. His attempts to turn a dishonest credit are repeatedly frustrated in this collection of three stories, previously published by Rogue Planet Press and Schlock! Webzine. This item is printed on demand.
